Shelley joined the Inner Design team in 2012, bringing with her a unique perspective shaped by her previous experience as a healthcare provider. Her clinical background has given her a deep understanding of the needs of patients, caregivers, and healthcare organizations, allowing her to create thoughtful environments that support healing and improve the overall patient experience.

As Chief Operating Officer, Shelley leads the firm’s day-to-day operations, overseeing project delivery, team development, and strategic initiatives that help position Inner Design for continued growth. Her collaborative leadership style, commitment to excellence, and passion for mentoring others have made her an integral part of the firm’s success. While she remains actively involved in healthcare design, her focus is on empowering the team, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring every project reflects the high standards for which Inner Design is known.

Shelley earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Middle Tennessee State University. A devoted Tennessee Volunteers fan, she enjoys cheering on the Big Orange, spending time at the lake with her husband and making memories outdoors with their two sons and two German Shorthair Pointer dogs.
