Koree is a Middle Tennessee native who grew up in Cookeville. She began her studies in nursing before realizing her true passion for design, which led her to transfer to Middle Tennessee State University and pursue a degree in Interior Design. While there, she served as Student Treasurer for the local ASID/IIDA chapter and organized the annual Student Design Showcase. Koree first joined Inner Design Studio as a summer intern during school and later gained valuable experience in the commercial furniture industry, focusing on workplace and higher education projects in Nashville. A few years later, she was thrilled to return to the Inner Design family, where she is now a key member of the furniture specifying team. She is also known as the “Officer of Fun” in the office, bringing energy and creativity to her team. Outside of work, Koree enjoys watercolor painting, reading (and leading the office book club), baking, and traveling. She and her husband stay busy with outdoor activities and youth sports alongside their two daughters, who keep them on their toes.
